Monthly Net Metering Credit: Production self-consumed immediately in the home avoids purchasing electricity at the retail rate. All kWhs exported to the grid are valued at ~$0.02855/ kWh- there is no net metering taking place. This credit is applied to the current month's bill. There's an additional $5 per month solar fee.
