Monthly Net Metering Credit: Each month, production exported to the grid is netted on a 1:1 basis against total monthly consumption. Any excess production above what was consumed that month will only be credited at the Solar avoided cost rate (~2-4 cents/ kWh) and applied to the customers account. There's an additional $2.50/month bi-directional meter fee added to customer bills after solar.
