System Size Justification: Based on FL State law, Rule 25-6.065 Tier 1 systems are capped at 11.76 kW DC. Above this cap, Tier 2 system require $1 million of general liability insurance. SECO does not impose an offset restriction.

Monthly Net Metering Credit:  Excess NEM credits exported to the grid are valued at ~ 9.5 cents/ kWh. These credits are first applied to the customers current month bill

Annual Credit True Up: If excess credits still remain, they will continue to roll over and be applied to the next monthly bill. Homeowners can request to be sent a check for excess credits at any time
